During the Kargil War in 1999, K Nachiketa was a 26-year-old fighter pilot assigned the task of hitting Pakistani posts in Kargil at altitudes in excess of 17,000 feet. He had locked on to a target and fired the powerful cannon of his MiG 27 fighter bomber when he experienced a nightmare for a pilot anywhere. His engine “flamed out” – it went dead, mid-air. Training took over and to get the engine restarted was his only goal.

He had a technical problem with the engine; his engine shut and he had to re-ignite. But you have to be flying at a certain height before you can do so. In his case, since he was flying over a terrain of five plus km, he did not have the adequate height. As a result, he had to eject.

The last words that his colleagues heard before he faded out were: ” Nachi – engine flame-out, relighting…. Nachi ejecting now.” and then an ominous silence. As Nachiketa parachuted down the dark ragged edges of the snow-clad mountains, the sky was lit a brilliant red by the giant explosion of his hapless aircraft. And then suddenly as he landed on the rocky surface, Nachiketa observed a speck in the sky. It was his fellow pilot, a daredevil squadron leader by the name of Ajay Ahuja, hovering over in his MiG-21 straining his eyes to catch sight of the landing area of his colleague.

Suddenly an explosion reverberated across the horizon, as Nachiketa recoiled in horror. A missile from the Afghani Mujahideen stockpile found its mark and hit Ahuja’s plane.

INDIAN ARMY में हुआ बड़ा बदलाव ।अब पहले PAPER होगा या PHYSICAL??

दोस्तों जैसे की आपको पता है कि indian army में पहले physical होता था 
लकिन अब Physical के स्थान पर अब युवाओं को पहले लिखित परीक्षा देनी होगी। इस प्रस्ताव को केन्द्र सरकार ने मंजूरी दे दी है। वित्तिय स्वीकृति मिलते ही देशभर में यह व्यवस्था शुरू होगी। संभावना है कि वर्ष के आखिर तक यह व्यवस्था पूरे देश में लागू हो। शनिवार को सीकर सेना भर्ती रैली का जायजा लेने आए भारतीय सेना के अतिरिक्त निदेशक (भर्ती) मेजर जनरल जे. के. मारवाल ने यह जानकारी दी।

मेजर जनरल जे. के. मारवाल नेे कहा कि भर्ती प्रक्रिया पूरी तरह ऑनलाइन है। इसमें किसी भी तरह की गड़बड़ी संभव नहीं है। इसके अलावा सेना एक दिन में ही दौड़, दस्तावेज जांच व मेडिकल प्रक्रिया पूरी करने की भी योजना बना रही है। इससे अभ्यर्थियों को बार-बार भर्ती स्थल पर नहीं आना पड़ेगा। 

उन्होंने कहा कि कोई दलाल भर्ती प्रक्रिया में कुछ भी नहीं कर सकते है। इसलिए युवाओं को दलालों के चंगुल से दूर रहना होगा। इस दौरान उपनिदेशक डीबी पाणी, भर्ती निदेशक वीएस पठानिया, एडिशनल एसपी राकेश काछवाल, एसडीएम जगदीश प्रसाद गौड़, एसीएम सिराज अली जैदी, तहसीलदार पंकज शर्मा, नेमीचंद पिलानियां सहित कई अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।

प्रशासन, अभ्यर्थी दोनों को फायदा

अतिरिक्त निदेशक (भर्ती) ने बताया कि नई व्यवस्था से अभ्यर्थियों को सीधे तौर पर फायदा होगा। लिखित परीक्षा पास करने वालों को ही शारीरिक परीक्षा की तैयारी करनी होगी। अभी एक भर्ती के लिए औसतन से 40 हजार से सवा लाख युवा तैयारी करते है। वहीं संबंधित जिला प्रशासनों को भर्ती कराने में ज्यादा परेशानी नहीं आएंगी। पहले लिखित परीक्षा होने से सभी को फायदा मिलेगा।

सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक के बाद बढ़ा क्रेज

मेजर जनरल जितेन्द्र मारवान ने कहा कि सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक के बाद देशभर में युवाओं का सेना के प्रति क्रेज बढ़ा है। इसकी हकीकत फिलहाल हो रही सेना भर्ती रैली में देखने को मिल रही है। सेना अधिकारियों ने बताया कि हाथ पर टेटू गुदवाने वाले युवाओं को सेना में इन्ट्री नहीं दी जाएगी। इसके पीछे वजह सेना का अनुशासन है। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे त्वचा संबंधी बीमारी होने का भी खतरा रहता है।

- पहले तहसील मुख्यालयों पर जाकर लेना पड़ता था टोकन। अब ऑनलाइन टोकन की व्यवस्था।

- दस्तावेज सत्यापन सहित अन्य कार्य मैन्युल। अब सभी कार्य कम्प्यूटर के जरिए।

- प्रश्न पत्र व उत्तर पुस्तिक जांच का कार्य भी पूरी तरह ऑनलाइन।

- हर जिले के युवाओं के लिए वर्ष में एक बार औसतन एक भर्ती निश्चित।
